I would have expected a more musculous chest. It kinda feels weired. But still a great design. I like it.

the previous version had that kind of chest. but then I studied more animal anatomy and figured there smaller than i thought, almost non existent and immediately became odd to me so i changed it. glad you like it though :)

Yeah, but he seems to have a heavy (big) head. To compensate that he would probably need a large chest muscle. Not sure if standard anatomy fits here. But this is totaly up to you :)

The question is, how much fiction and how much realworld stuff are you gonna put into your project? Sometimes I catch myself thinking either too much in realworld units / behavior / habbits and then saying like "damn, its 3D, who cares...I MADE IT, I DECIDE " . . . Never mind. Im just trying to show you some different points of view ;)

its definitely hard to decide whenever it comes to your own personal project..we keep going back and forth with decision and doing extra research to make it look better. yeh i get caught thinking like that as well between realworld aspects and then exaggeration to make it more interesting. what influenced this design are some of my old favorite classic characters like taz manian devil, or Milo the dog from the mask, i was trying to capture the spirit of those two.
I dont know why this occurred to me, i mean even his smile doesnt make sense if it were to follow real life anatomy, but it just feels right! hehe
